The approach

A consultation, not a script

Most facials are chosen from a menu before anyone has looked at the skin. Here it works the other way around. Karen reads your skin, asks what has and has not worked, and builds your visit from there.

The treatments run on Circadia, a professional line built on the way skin repairs itself over a daily cycle. Anti-ageing, hydration, acne, advanced exfoliation. You leave with a plan for holding the result at home, which is the part that decides whether a facial was worth it.

We talk first

What your skin does, what you have tried, what is bothering you now. Five minutes that change everything that follows.

Then you switch off

Cleanse, exfoliation, extractions if you need them, massage, a mask chosen for your skin and not for the calendar. Most people fall asleep.

You leave with a plan

What to use, in what order, and how often to come back. No pressure to buy anything, but you will know exactly what would help.

Before you book

How do I know which facial to book?
If you are not sure, book the Lux 60 Min Facial at $100. It opens with a full consultation and Karen adjusts everything from there. Once she has read your skin once, picking the right treatment next time is easy.
What is Circadia?
A professional skincare line built on chronobiology, the idea that skin repairs itself on a daily cycle and that treatment should work with that cycle rather than against it. Several of the facials here are built on it, including the Lux Lift, the Oxygen facial and the Dream facial.
Is dermaplaning going to make my hair grow back thicker?
No. That is a myth. Vellus hair grows back exactly as it was. What changes is your skin texture and how well your products absorb.
How often should I come?
Skin turns over roughly every four to six weeks, so that is the natural rhythm for a facial. For active acne or a specific concern Karen may want to see you more often at the start, then space it out.
I have never had a facial before.
Then you are in good hands. Several of the reviews on this site are from people whose first facial was here. Nothing happens without being explained first, and you can stop at any point.
Can I book a facial for my husband, or my teenager?
Yes to both. The Men's Hot Towel Facial at $145 is built for men and finishes in the massage chair, and the acne facial is written for adolescent and adult skin alike.
